Change Password Policies

If the server is a member of an AD domain, use GPMC (gpmc.msc) > Default
Domain Policy > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies/Password Policy


If it's a stand alone machine, do the same but use the Local Policies snap-in secpol.msc

Refresh the policy by running:

gpupdate /force
